Moving to Agile: An Executive Manager's Perspective
During this two-hour management briefing, Tom Haug, VP of Software Engineering for Electronic Evidence Discovery (EED), will share an executive management perspective on adopting Agile. Tom will discuss how to overcome some of the unexpected challenges companies face when moving from a traditional development process to Agile. Joining him will be Michael Tardiff, SolutionsIQ Agile Team Lead and Coach, and Paul Dupuy, SolutionsIQ Agile Generalist. Together they will provide a coaches' perspective, sharing many of the specific techniques they have employed with EED to enhance the team's use of Scrum and XP practices, while improving the organization's velocity by assuming direct roles as ScrumMaster and development lead on the project.
